On January 23rd, 2025, we held three workshops: Math and paint, Optimization, and Treasure hunt for Prva riječka hrvatska gimnazija high school students.
Among other activities, we presented the SciMaG game Open the Chest with Evolution to students.
On December 5th, 2024, we celebrated the Evening of Mathematics! Precisely, at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Rijeka, we organized a day full of various activities and workshops for high school students. We held workshops Secret hunt, Bioinspired math: Optimization, Bioinspired math: crystals and tilings, Math escape and Math & Paint for over 50 students from four different schools.

On November 27th, 2024 we held a project presentation and SciMaG educational games Assemble and play sudoku to approximately 50 teachers participating in the County teachers meeting in Rijeka, Croatia.
On November 22nd, in Rab, Croatia, we held five workshops for elementary school pupils: Assemble and play sudoku, Treasure hunt in the Pi rhythm, and Archimedes and Penrose tiling. Additionally, we had four workshops for high school pupils: Secret hunt and Mathematical card tricks.
On November 23rd, as a part of Researcher’s Night @Rab, we presented SciMaG games Assemble and play sudoku,Discover the number pi, Break the code using evolution, Archimedes and Penrose tiling, and Crystal puzzle.
On November 20th 2024, we held two workshops for Elementary school Vidikovac pupils: Say it in other words and Optimisation: [ai] explore and Break the code using evolution.
On November 15th, in Cres, Croatia, we held six workshops for elementary school pupils: Assemble and play sudoku, Treasure hunt in the Pi rhythm, and Say it in other words.
On November 16th, as a part of Researcher’s Night @Cres, we presented SciMaG games Assemble and play sudoku,Discover the number pi, Break the code using evolution, Archimedes and Penrose tiling, and Crystal puzzle.
During all three days of our visit, visitors could play various mathematical games and puzzles and learn a few mathematical card tricks.
On November 11 we celebrated World Science Day for Peace and Development.
We participated in the celebration of Science Day organized by Elementary School Čavle, where we held 6 workshops attended for about 150 students. Thank you Elementary School Čavle for the invitation!

On 6.11.2024., at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Rijeka, we held four workshops for elementary school students: Assemble and play sudoku, Treasure hunt in the Pi rhythm, Archimedes and Penrose tiling, and Crystal puzzle.
From October 21 to 23, the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Rijeka organized a project meeting and learning and teaching activity within the Erasmus+ project SciMaG – Science&Math educational games from preschool to university. The emphasis of the project activities is on analog and social games, which develop mathematical and scientific literacy, computational thinking, social and communication skills, etc.
The topic of the three-day education held in Rijeka was game-based teaching. In addition to the theoretical introduction to the subject and the exchange of experiences on the implementation of games in classes and extracurricular activities, the participants of the education had the opportunity to try out numerous educational games developed at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Rijeka, explore the permanent exhibition of the Natural History Museum Rijeka in Kaštel Zrinski through the game and see first-hand how games are used in classes at Elementary School Sveti Matej Viškovo, and the Prva sušačka hrvatska gimnazija u Rijeci.
